Welcome to the London Gardens Network
A forum for Professional Gardeners to exchange ideas
We are a Free forum and non-profit organisation for Professional Gardeners across the UK. We aim to bring together gardeners from all backgrounds, to share ideas, promote high standards of practical horticulture and help support the next generation of gardeners.
About Us
We formed the London Gardens Network in 2009 to provide a platform for professional gardeners to share their knowledge and support one another. We’re now a national network.

Experience the London Gardens Network
Formed in 2009
The London Gardens Network was originally formed in 2009 to provide an ideas exchange forum for professional gardeners in London. We felt there was a particular set of pressures that gardeners within the M25 faced, and that by creating the network and sharing information, we could help alleviate those pressures. Our popularity has grown beyond London and we now welcome gardeners from all over the country.
Annual Seminar’s
We hold seminars (in London) for all UK gardeners and our topics and guest speakers vary every year. Previous seminars have covered a variety of horticultural subjects, including biodiversity, conservation, managing volunteers and careers in horticulture. Visit our events section. Highest Standards
By promoting the highest standards of practical expertise our aim is to support a wide range of gardeners from horticultural managers to trainees and all levels in-between. We have a friendly atmosphere to support learning and development and to help mentor those new to gardening.
A Dedicated Committee
Our committee have all benefited from fellow gardeners who’ve shared their time, knowledge and skills. We value this practice and are keen to continue this tradition by planning seminars and by engaging with our country wide community via social media.
